Andy Gamboa

The Costa Rican actor Andy Gamboa Arguedas is still a very young creator, perhaps that is why his serenity to deal with pain and the marks he carries with him is so impressive. He is 39 years old and is the third of six siblings. When he tells his family history it is clear to us that his work, already shocking in itself, narrates only a part of everything he has had to live through. With two National Culture Awards behind him, among other recognitions, Andy writes his page in the history of the performing arts in his country with a firm hand.
