Jimena Franco

Jimena Franco is a transgender woman, who has participated in several film festivals in Costa Rica, Theater and film actress in Costa Rica, radio and TV presenter. Winner of awards as best actress at different film festivals as best actress with the film Abrázame como antes by the filmmaker Jurguen Ureña. Jimena will be one of the most important speakers at the Tamarindo Beach Pride Festival, she will tell us about her life and the daily circumstances that a transgender person must deal with to find a job, be an entrepreneur or simply have a life like any other human being. In addition, we will discuss what are the national and global actions to achieve equality for all people.
